Two dramatic videos that appear to show the rescue of a child and an adult from the rubble in Turkey’s Sanliurfa province have emerged after the deadly 7.8-magnitude earthquake killed hundreds in southern Turkey and Syria.

In an aftershock that occurred in the Turkish province, other buildings also collapsed.

In the footage of the videos that saw the light of day, two apartment buildings can be seen collapsing like paper towers.

Every hour that passes, fears intensify that the victims will increase significantly, as 560 buildings have collapsed in the city of Gaziantep alone, reports Manolis Kostidis. There are estimates for millions of homeless peopleas 10 densely populated cities have been affected.

Seismologists estimate that the early morning tremor may be worse than the 1999 earthquake
