“This has been a pretty quiet part of the 22nd District for quite some time” said the police inspector Daniel Outlaw. “At the moment we are gathering all the evidence to understand if this is retaliation, or if the attack was aimed at one of the victims, but it is still too early to say.” commented.
The little girl has been injured by gunshots on the thigh, while the 2-year-old’s mother, a 31-year-old woman, was shot twice in the thigh, police said. The five teenagers, aged between 13 and 17, have injuries to their thighs and arms and are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
