“Human will cannot be bought with money,” said Kemal Kilicdaroglu
Violent attack on Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish government was unleashed by CHP (Republican People’s Party) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu, after the footage of the Turkish president handing out money to children who lost everything in the earthquake in southeastern Turkey.
“Don’t look at them crying. They don’t cry, they say: ”we can attract people sharing money?” he said characteristically.
“Can you buy the human will with money?” Kilicdaroglu wondered. “On the most painful day you say “I’ll give you money?”… For God’s sake!” he stated.
The CHP leader added “Erdoğan declares “Two days we did nothing, I humbly apologize.” Friends, there is no forgiveness when you counsel the people… You did the violations (in the earthquake regulations), you did it on purpose.”
Erdogan’s ‘charity’ images of young children branded ’embarrassing’ on social media and provoked popular outrage. Tayyip Erdoğan yesterday apologized for the delay in rescue and aid operations to the residents of Antiyaman province, one of the most affected Turkish provinces by the devastating earthquake of February 6.
