After covid and the restrictions on human contact due to the pandemic, Chinese students thought of creating with the help of technology a device that allows people to kiss from a distance.
According to the Global Times the smart “remote kissing device” was patented by Changzhou University’s Institute of Engineering.
The device has false lips with sensors and connects to the phone via bluetooth and an app.
Two people – even in different parts of the world – put their lips on the device and are supposed to feel the heat and intensity of their kiss.
In fact, along with the kiss gesture, the device can also transmit the sound the user makes.
“The remote kissing device allows couples in love who live in different places to have an ‘authentic experience’ of kissing,” writes the Global Times.
