Meral Aksener, the leader of the Good Party in Turkey withdrew from the table of six, as a result of which the opposition alliance of six dissolved.

According to the as reported by the SKAI correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis in the SKAI news bulletin, there were tremors from Thursday evening. Today, however, Meral Aksener announced that he no longer participates in the six opposition partiesas disagrees with the candidacy of Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

As Aksener pointed out “we will neither be at the gambling table nor at the notary’s table to approve his candidacy”. At the same time, he called the mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglou and the mayor of Ankara, Mansoor Java to the task, thus showing her preference for the two mayors.

According to Manolis Kostidis after the latest developments, Monday’s announcement of who will be Erdogan’s opponent will either be postponed, or will never happen or there will be three candidates, Tayyip Erdogan, Kemal Kilicdaroglu and the mayors who will are supported by Aksener.
