A video released by Ukrainians on social media shows the Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov wearing a medical device on a finger reignites rumors of his health problems. This is a video released in the last few hours, and it shows the Chechen welcoming Denis Pushilin, head of the so-called state of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” which is not recognized by the international community.

The German newspaper “Bild” recently reported that in recent months, Kadyrov has gained weight, looks swollen in his video appearances and cannot open his eyes. He noted that Kadyrov has a problem with his kidneys, referring to the former deputy prime minister of Chechnya, Akhmad Zakaviev, who is in exile abroad. The kidney problem would explain his swelling, commented “Bild”.

According to the Moldovan newspaper “Timpul”, Kazakh journalist Azat Maitanov also stated that the 46-year-old Kadyrov – a close ally of Vladimir Putin in the war he launched in Ukraine – is facing serious health problems, possibly with his kidneys.

Other reports speak of poisoning of Kadyrov, which explains why he was not present at Putin’s State of the Nation address. The Chechen warlord recently stated that the commander of Chechen forces in Ukraine was poisoned with a letter impregnated with a toxic agent.
