The leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un asked the country’s military to step up its training in order to prevent and respond to “real war”if this is deemed necessary, during a missile launch exercise he attended with his daughter.
North Korea should “increase various real war simulation exercises (…) in different situations,” Kim said, as reported by the KCNA news agency today.
Besides, the North Korean leaderwho oversaw new military high schools, asked soldiers to prepare “for two strategic missions: first to prevent war and second to take the initiative in war.”
Images broadcast today by KCNA showed the simultaneous launch six missiles of the Hwasong unit, which is trained for “strike missions,” the agency said, adding that the unit “launched a powerful barrage of missiles” and demonstrated its ability to “deal with a real war in the waters of the West Korean Sea.”
