The perpetrator of the armed attack on the offices of Meral Aksener’s party was arrested in Istanbul.
The latest development was confirmed by the Minister of the Interior of Turkey, Suleiman Soylu.
“The perpetrator of the attack against the provincial headquarters of the Good Party was arrested. Trust your government and police,” he tweeted.

The attack was launched at the local offices of Meral Aksener’s Good Party in the Merter district at noon when an unknown person shot through the window of the political office of the opposition party. There were no injuries from the attack.
