“Dear Madam Ambassador, I do not want to disturb the calm atmosphere of the presentation of credentials and I know that you may not agree with me, but I can only say that the use of such instruments by the United States in its foreign policy, the support for so-called “color revolutions,” the State Department’s support for the 2014 coup in Kiev, ultimately led to the current Ukrainian crisis,” ePutin told Tracy characteristically. “(US actions) had an additional negative impact on the deterioration of Russian-American relations” he added.
“Relations between Russia and the United States, on which global security and stability directly depend, are in deep crisis, unfortunately”the Russian president emphasized during his speech and underlined that “is based on fundamentally different approaches to shaping the modern world order.”
