The Republican former US president maintains that he will “never give up” despite the criminal prosecution and other investigations he faces.
Republican former US President Donald Trump, who has already started campaigning to “recapture” the White House in 2024, predicted on Tuesday that his Democratic successor Joe Biden, 80, will not run for re-election because of ” of his physical” and “mental” condition, promising at the same time that he himself will “never give up” despite the criminal prosecution and other investigations of the justice he faces.
“I don’t see how it’s possible, from a physical and mental standpoint,” Donald Trump said when asked during an interview with a television network — Fox News — after he was indicted in late March.
“I don’t think it can,” he insisted.
Joe Biden reiterates at this stage that he intends to run in 2024, however he has not officially started a campaign to date.
His age is much commented upon. At eighty, he is already the oldest US president in history. He would be 86 at the end of his eventual second term.
“It’s not an age thing,” countered Donald Trump, a slightly younger, 76-year-old Mayo. “But something is wrong,” he judged.
The Republican real estate tycoon — who, in addition to the criminal prosecution he faces in New York and has a huge exposure in the media, is also the target of judicial investigations for other cases — insisted again that he has no intention of withdrawing from the race, he will he’s definitely running in 2024. “I’ll never quit, I’m not doing this, I’m never going to do that.”
