Specifically, the video shows Ahmed and his brother, Ashraf, both handcuffed, talking to reporters on their way to a medical check-up at a hospital seconds before they both dropped dead.

Atiq Ahmed had dozens of cases, including kidnapping, murder and extortion, on his criminal record. Just last March a court had sentenced him, along with two other men, to life imprisonment for kidnapping.
