Authorities also face another “threat” from a coalition of left-wing groups, led by Extinction Rebellion (XR), which will flood central London with 30,000 supporters this weekend
An activist of the organization “Just Stop Oil” stated that her members will do everything in their power to destroy his coronation ceremony King Charleswithout violence.
Protester James Skeet was asked on ‘Good Morning Britain’ if they would do something disruptive such as throw an object at Charles and Camilla’s carriage. The activist did not rule out a protest by the organization. Let’s remember that a few days ago, the organization caused absolute chaos in the World Snooker Championship.
“Just Stop Oil will do whatever is necessary – non-violently – at the coronation of King Charles. We will do whatever is non-violent, but necessary to save ourselves,” he said.
Another Just Stop Oil spokeswoman, Anna Holland, was asked this morning on GB News if the group would “disrupt” Charles’ coronation. Newcastle-based Holland replied: “I think it’s extremely important to note that when you say the ‘Just Stop Oil’ tactic isn’t working, the fact that we liked a post on Twitter has become national news. If that doesn’t show that our disruption is working – we’re putting the climate crisis at the center of the conversation – I don’t know what will.”
Just Stop Oil, the organization behind the World Snooker Championship protest, never reveals its ‘hits’ in advance, but there are fears the crown could now be in its sights.

Earlier this week, the group “liked” a post on Twitter with a map of the route for King Charles’ coronation ceremony. And the anti-monarchy group, the “Republic”, also revealed plans to protest the coronation at the start and end of the route. Around 1,000 activists are expected to descend on the area around Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, holding placards reading: “You are not our king”. The Republic claimed it had received assurances that its protest “will not be obstructed by the Metropolitan Police”.
However, Conservative MP Gareth Johnson said: “The coronation of the King is a moment when the whole country should come together to celebrate. Any organization that tries to use it as an opportunity for protest and disruption will only create anger against it.
People care about the environment, but the fanatical behavior of the protesters, which disrupts one of our country’s greatest traditions, will turn the world away from environmentalism.”
