The “pots”i.e. protesters who oppose French government policies, who “welcome” him French President Emmanuel Macron and his ministers when they visit public places banging empty pots in protest, continues in France.

Today a few hundred protesters greeted the French president in the Vendôme region where he visited a university hospital, with police forces keeping them at a distance. Yesterday, the same thing happened to the Minister of Education Pap Diagé in Lyon where, visiting an educational institution, he was confronted by about 100 “potters”, while the Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak had a similar treatment when she attended the Moliere Awards ceremony.

From the government side, both President Macron and his ministers state that they are not willing to limit their public appearances, while government spokesman Gabriel Attal stated that the government did not wait for the sounds of pot banging to hear the French and estimated that they those who beat them are either trade union officials or representatives of far-left organizations.
