Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky will make a surprise visit to the Netherlands, who will deliver a speech in The Hague tomorrow Thursday, the Dutch government announced this evening.

According to the Dutch foreign ministry, Zelensky will deliver a speech on the theme “No peace without justice” for Ukraine.

Earlier today, Zelensky denied any involvement by Kiev in what Moscow claimed was a “drone attack on the Kremlin” as part of an “assassination attempt” on Russian President Vladimir Putin. “We did not attack Putin. We leave him for the court. We are fighting on our territory, we are defending our villages and cities,” the Ukrainian head of state stressed during a press conference in Helsinki with leaders of northern European countries.

For its part, the Kremlin spoke of a “terrorist act” and an “attempted assassination” of (Russian President) Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin’s statement said Russia reserved all rights of response – meaning Moscow could use the incident to further escalate the war in Ukraine.
