While Russia celebrates “Victory Day”the head of Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin sends an ultimatum to Putin: “If by the end of the Victory Parade there is no clear information about the ammunition for the Wagners, he will publish a video in which he will reveal the whole truth about the miserable situation at the front » he emphasizes in a video published at noon on Tuesday.

At the same time, the leader of the paramilitary organization-company Wagner, accused the soldiers of the Russian regular army of abandoning their positions in Bakhmut, the focus of the fighting in eastern Ukraine for months, and accused the Russian State of being unable to defend Russia.

“Today, one of the units of the Ministry of Defense abandoned one of the wings of the front. They abandoned their positions, put it on their feet,” complained Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is at open war with the Russian military leadership.

“Why does the State fail to defend the country?”, he asks in a video posted on Telegram, while Vladimir Putin insisted during his speech in Red Square that “the future” of Russia “depends” on the soldiers who fight in Ukraine.

“Right now nothing is more important than your military duty. The security of the country depends on you today, the future of our country, of our people depends on you,” Putin said addressing the military who participated in the parade.

“Victory Day is the victory of our ancestors. We didn’t deserve a single bit of this victory (…) There is a crime called ‘destruction of the Russian people’ (…) And this here is just a small group,” he said, referring to the Russian military leadership.

Last week, Wagner’s owner announced that he would withdraw his men from Bakhmut on May 10 if the Russian military staff does not send him the ammunition he is requesting. On Sunday, he said he had “received the promise” of sending the necessary supplies, implying that Wagner would not immediately withdraw from Bahamut.

Today, he reiterated that he would begin the withdrawal of forces in the absence of supplies: Prigozhin stated that Wagner has received only 10% of the ammunition she has requested.

“We will not leave Bahamut, we will stay a few more days, we will fight despite this, we will make it easy,” he said, extending his ultimatum for a few days.

Although Yevgeny Prigozhin has been criticizing the Russian military hierarchy for months, calling it “incompetent”, his verbal attacks have intensified in recent days.

Today, Prigozhin accused the Russian military hierarchy of seeking to “deceive” Putin about attacking Ukraine.

“If all this is being done to deceive the chief of the armed forces, then either this chief will tear your m…, or the Russian people, who will be furious if the war is lost,” Prigozhin stated very dramatically.
