For his part, the French Foreign Minister demanded the immediate release of Fariba Adelkach.

“The decision to send us back to prison, which we condemn, can only have a negative impact on the relationship between France and Iran and reduce trust between the two countries,” the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
