Footage shows people running for cover when they heard the gunshots
Nine people were injured in a shooting on a boardwalk in Hollywood Beach, Florida. Many of the victims were taken to a nearby children’s hospital. However, authorities have not yet released the ages of the injured, including six adults and three children.

From the preliminary investigation, it was established that the shots were fired after a fight between two people. One person has been arrested and another suspect is being sought. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Hollywood Mayor Josh Levy said, “Thank you to the good Samaritans, paramedics, police and emergency room doctors and nurses for their immediate response to help the victims of today’s shooting.”
