The former football player of Atromitos, Anthony Le Talecwas found near the playground in the French town of Annecy where it occurred earlier today (8/6) knife attack from an asylum seeker who declares to be Syrian with a result five people were injured including four small children before he was arrested by the police.

The man attacked children aged around three who were at the time on the playground in the large park adjacent to Lake Annecy in eastern France. Two of the children and an adult are in critical condition, while two other children suffered minor injuries, police said.

Le Talec shared his experience through “stories” he uploaded to his personal Instagram account.

He said he was jogging along the lakeshore when he saw dozens of people running in the other direction.

Suddenly a woman shouted to him: “Run, run, someone is stabbing everyone along the lake, he has stabbed children, run, run.”

Le Talec then moved out of the way of the suspect being pursued by police and ran towards him.

“At first I lost it, but I kept going. Suddenly I see the guy coming towards me. He is on the grass and I see the police 5 or 10 meters behind him. They can’t catch him. He’s coming towards me, so I step aside a bit and see that he’s heading towards the seniors. And then he attacks the grandfather. He stabbed him once and the officers behind him were unable to catch him. I tell them: “Shoot him, kill him, he’s stabbing them all!”. He attacked once or twice and then the police started shooting. They shot the assailant, who fell to the ground, but had stabbed the old man. I kept running and I could see in the distance that children were on the ground. It’s horrible”
