The president of the USA Joe Biden has begun using a continuous positive airway pressure device known as CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) to treat chronic sleep apnea, a spokesperson for White House.

“Since 2008, the president has disclosed that he suffers from sleep apnea syndrome through detailed medical reports. He used a CPAP machine last night, which is common for people with that history,” spokesman Andrew Bates said, confirming information reported by Bloomberg.

Another White House official said President Biden has started using a CPAP machine in recent weeks to improve his sleep quality.

Earlier today, reporters noticed signs on President Biden’s face that suggested he was wearing a mask.

The personal doctor of the 80-year-old Biden gave the green light after the medical tests that the president underwent in February, in order to seek a second presidential term.
