Conor McGregor and the Miami Heat are ending their partnership after McGregor sent Burnie, the team’s mascot, to the hospital by headbutting him in a skit that apparently ended in disgrace during Game 4 of the NBA championship.

As if that wasn’t enough, Conor McGregor was embroiled in a sexual harassment scandal at the team’s Kaseya Center stadium after the same game. Of course, he denies all the accusations and maintains that this is blackmail.

The defendant and UFC champion had signed a deal for his new hit spray to be the team’s “official pain relief partner.” The agreement also stipulated that the players would wear the Tidl Sports patches on their uniforms for the 2023-2024 season.

However, after the above developments with Conor, the deal does not look like it will prosper.

“This was pretty bad for an otherwise guaranteed organization,” said a team insider, “I can’t imagine the Heat want the Tidl Sports patch on their jerseys — it’s a reminder of the 24 hours of hell the organization went through.”

There is no evidence of this deal on the team’s social media and neither is McGregor’s material, as there is no mention of the Heat or Tidl by him.

When David Beckham moved to the United States, the professional relationship he established with the Heat contributed to his transition from an ordinary athlete to a star. Obviously, it won’t be the same with Conor McGregor.
