The future of the private paramilitary company and its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin is more uncertain than ever since its rebellion in Russia, which brought the mercenaries within a few hundred kilometers of Moscow. However, its interventions abroad, especially in Syria and in African countries (Sudan, Central African Republic, Mali in particular) have so far not been publicly called into question.

“Translators wanted” in Arabic and French, says the organization’s Telegram channel “PMC Wagner Employment” (Wagner Private Military Company Recruitment), the Site notes.

According to the translation of Wagner’s … surreal post made by the American company, the organization offers “decent and fair financial remuneration”, insurance, “the best equipment” as well as “the chance to see the world and get a healthy tan”.

Many questions remain about the organization’s future, its status in Russia, and Prigozhin’s fate after his mutiny.
The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who mediated between Prigozhin and Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the insurgency, had said on June 27 that the group’s leader was indeed in Belarus, as stipulated in the agreement.
