In a poll for the private television network RTL/n-tv, 64% of respondents say they are less or not at all satisfied with Olaf Solz’s performance, while only 34% are positive
Dissatisfaction with the chancellor’s work is expressed by the majority of Germans, and only a small majority believes that the governing coalition will disagree less after the summer.
In a survey by the Forsa Institute on behalf of the private television networks RTL/n-tv, 64% of respondents say they are less or not at all satisfied with Olaf Solz’s performance, while only 34% are positive. Indicatively, in March 2022 the figures were reversed.
The majority appears to be critical of the government’s work as a whole. Only 19% believe that the SPD, Greens and FDP will work together harmoniously after the summer break. 78%, on the other hand, believe that the government’s ability to act will continue to be affected by disagreements between partners. However, only one in four believe that the governing coalition will break up before the end of the four-year term, compared to 38% who thought so at the beginning of June. 70% now believe in the stability of the government.
