The US government plans to announce next week a new package of military aid to Ukraine, estimated to be worth up to $400 million, Reuters reported, citing three unnamed US officials.

It will include several Stryker armored personnel carriers, missiles (for NASAMS, HIMARS, Patriot and Stinger), anti-tank weapons (including TOW and Javelin) and demining equipment.

This package will not include cluster munitions this time, such as those fired by self-propelled howitzers and used by the Ukrainian military in the past days, according to the same source.

The new military aid package has not yet been finalized and additions or changes may be made. It will be the 43rd approved by US President Joe Biden for Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022. The total value of US military aid to Ukraine is more than $41 billion.
