Jaws… A puppy has landed the White House in trouble after one of the presidential couple’s German wolfhounds turned out to be … stubborn, to the point of needing retraining to learn to behave.
President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill have taken up residence in the White House with their two wolf dogs, Chub (Champion) and Major (Major). After Chub’s death, the young, energetic man stole their hearts Commander. A video was even released in which the US president played with Commander or led him, holding him by the leash, inside the presidential residence, telling him “Come on, buddy.”

But the “friendly commander” biden’s…bites, reports the American press, citing Secret Service documents. According to them, the Commander has been involved in ten events, and in fact in one of them his victim had to go to the hospital. In one case, Jill Biden she was “unable to control” the puppy, which repeatedly lunged at a Secret Service agent.
“It’s only a matter of time before he attacks or bites an agent or employee,” a member of the Secret Service said in an email included in the documents.
The first lady’s communications director explained to CNN that the White House is a “unique space” that “often causes stress to pets”. For this reason, Commander will have to be retrained, as was done with the other presidential dog, Major.
Major was adopted from a dog shelter and is the first rescued pet of a president. But the Bidens were forced to briefly send him back to Delaware for intensive “good behavior” classes after he bit at least one White House staffer.
