Today, August 13, is International Left-Handed Day.

August 13th was established as International Left-Handers’ Day in 1992 by the Left-Handers’ Club of Great Britain and over time has gained global reach.

Its aim is to inform left-handed people about the challenges they face living in a right-handed world…

Statistical data

  • 10.6% of the world’s population are left-handed, according to the largest international study to date, led by researchers from the University of Athens. The research was published in April 2020.
