The American actor died at the age of 66 Ron Cephas Jones, who was facing serious health problems. He was mainly known from the series This Is Us – in a performance recital that earned him two Emmy Awards.

Jones, according to his agent, was facing a serious health problem with his lungs. In fact, it was submitted to double transplant lung in 2020 due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and spent nearly two months in a Los Angeles hospital, according to the Guardian.

The “goodbye” of his colleague was heartbreaking Wendell Pierce who used lyrics by Dylan Thomas: “Ron Cephas Jones was a man of grace, insight, elegance, talent, wisdom, sophistication and cool. I watched his rise from the Nuyorican Poets Café, to Richard III at the NY Shakespeare Fest, to his Emmy-winning performance on This Is Us. It was the epitome of sensitivity.

He fought for years. He did not quietly accept to go into blessed night. He raged, raged against the dying light. Now… rest, rest my friend. Rest in Peace”.
