North Korean news agencies reported that Kim Jong Un inspected “the readiness of North Korean sailors for war”
The president of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, gave a new show watching the test launch of a strategic cruise missile in the context of a military exercise.
During an inspection of a navy fleet on an unspecified date, Kim boarded a patrol ship to check his weapons and preparations for battleaccording to the official Korean Central News Agency.
The country’s agencies reported that the North Korean leader checked “the readiness of North Korean sailors for war”.
“On the battlefield, in fact, what is needed is not the numerical and technical superiority of weapons, but the overwhelming ideological and spiritual strength of the military personnel who owns weapons. Soldiers armed with an indomitable spirit cannot have invincible enemies and defeats in battle” emphasized the leader of the PRC.
Kim’s remarks come three days after the leaders of the USA, South Korea and Japan held their first trilateral summit and agreed to step up defense cooperation in the context of North Korea’s evolving nuclear and missile threats.
