The Spanish actor Gabriel Guevarawho became famous for his participation in the film My Fault/Culpa Mia and the Spanish version of the series Skam, was arrested in Venice after France issued an international arrest warrant against him on charges of sexual abuse.

Guevara, 22, was due to receive an award from the Filming Italy festival today for his performance in the film My Fault/Culpa Mia. The organizers told the Italian news agency Ansa that the awarding of the prize postponed until the investigation against him is completed.

Ansa reported that Gabriel Guevara was arrested by the police yesterday Saturday, as soon as he arrived in Lido where the 80th Mostra, the international Venice Film Festival, is hosted from August 30 to September 9.
