A 5-year-old girl died this afternoon, when in the car he was riding with his family, just outside Turin, a burning piece of aircraft fell of the Italian Air Force.
His 9-year-old brother also suffered extensive burns while the children’s parents were also injured.
According to the information so far, a burning piece of aircraft crashed into the car in which the unfortunate family was traveling.
The tragic incident took place minutes before a scheduled demonstration of the aerobatic swarm, as the aircraft were approaching the Vercelli area.
The pilot of the downed aircraft managed to escape using a parachute.
