The wife of the infamous Mexican cartel leader Joaquin El Chapo Guzmán spent her night in a Los Angeles club, a few days after she was released from prison.
The 33-year-old beauty, Emma Coronel Ayspuro, as reported by TMZ, had fun at the private party organized in her honor by her lawyer. She was seen enjoying her drinks surrounded by security men after two years of confinement.

Aispouro was released Wednesday morning after spending two years in a California rehabilitation center. In November 2021, she was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking and money laundering conspiracy related to her husband’s Sinaloa cartel.

He will serve four years of supervised release. Guzmán, her husband and head of the Sinaloa cartel, was convicted in 2019 of participation in a criminal enterprise and other charges for distributing tons of cocaine in the US. He had escaped from Mexican prisons in 2001 and 2015, and was recaptured in 2016. He is currently serving a life sentence at Colorado’s ADX Florence Supermax prison.
Before Coromel’s arrest, she was accused of helping to organize her husband’s escape in 2015. On Friday, Guzman’s son, Ovidio Guzman Lopez, was extradited from Mexico to the U.S. and faces a string of drug-trafficking and money-laundering charges.
