The leadership of the Karabakh Armenians said the Russian peacekeeping force would accompany those displaced by the conflicts who want to flee to Armenia.
A first group of refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh crossed into Armenia today, according to the AFP news team at the border. This group, which consists of a few dozen people, includes women, children and the elderly. All of them arrived at the reception center set up by the Armenian government in Kornijor.
Photos and videos showing Armenian refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh were also posted on the Armenian news platform CivilNet.

Among those depicted in these photographs are some women with children. Reuters reported that it was unable to verify the authenticity of the photos.
