A BBC investigation found that a highly organized network used a middleman to find young men for the events of Mike Jeffries and Matthew Smith. Jeffries and Smith did not respond to requests for comment from the BBC.

As part of a two-year investigation, the BBC spoke to 12 men who said they attended or organized events involving sexual acts on behalf of Jeffries, 79, and his British partner Smith, 60, between 2009 and 2015.
