A little over 24 hours after the raid carried out by Hamas in Israeli territories, Hollywood stars express their thoughts on the tragic events unfolding in their posts on social media, among them the Israeli-born actress Natalie Portman.
The award-winning actress, who was born in Jerusalem as Natalie Herschlag, she wrote in her Instagram post on a black background that “her heart is in pieces for the people of Israel.”
“Children, women and the elderly have been murdered and kidnapped from their own homes. I watch these barbaric tactics in horror and my heart goes out with love and prayer for all the families affected.” Portman wrote.
For her part, the popular singer Madonna shared in her post on Instagram a video showing what has happened since Saturday morning, commenting that what “happening in Israel is devastating.”
