The Berlin Conference was concluded in Tirana in which he participated Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The Summit focused on issues of economic convergence of the Western Balkans with the EU and their integration into the Single Market, good neighborly relations and bilateral issues, as well as supporting the green and digital transition in the Western Balkans.

The Berlin Process was held ahead of the European Commission’s regular progress reports on the path of candidate countries, and the debate on EU Enlargement, which began at the informal European Council in Granada and is expected to culminate in the European Council in December.

According to reports Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis also had a meeting with his Albanian counterpart Edi Rama with whom he discussed the matter of Beleri.

Greece’s position is clear that this issue should be resolved, the elected mayor Heimarras sworn in, as a condition to pave the way for the start of Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
