The representative of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Omer Celik, spoke of one of the most planned massacres and barbarities in modern history, referring to the bombing of the Gaza hospital, on the sidelines of Israel’s war.

“It must be evaluated as one of the most planned massacres and barbarities in modern history,” he said characteristically, stressing that in in this context, President ErdoÄŸan will announce three days of mourning.

As it transmits the correspondent of SKAI in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, Mr. Celik argued that a solution is not possible without the establishment of a geographically unified Palestinian state on the 1967 borders and without ending this occupation by Israel.

“Unfortunately, the first thing the US and some Western countries did was send warships and aircraft carriers to the area. They overlook that this will escalate the tension in the region, fuel the conflict and prepare the ground for some countries and powers,” he pointed out, concluding by questioning whether the Israel’s right to defend itself is the right to kill children, women and civilians.

“This rocket was fired by Israeli security forces targeting this hospital. The other claims are misinformation. The US president is implying that he did not hit Israel but someone else,” he said, commenting that international organizations have remained silent on the bombing of millions of people and the near-genocide of those people in a small area in Gaza.

“No one has the power to force us to choose sides. There is no state, political or military force in the world that can force Turkey to choose a side. Turkey as a sovereign state makes its own decisions,” he added.

“We express our gratitude to all our citizens and all our party organizations who showed sensitivity,” he concluded, referring to the demonstrations that have taken place.
