New bomb threats at airports in France were also reported today while Versailles is being evacuated again after a relevant warning.

These alarms have multiplied for several days in France, especially after the attack that claimed the life of teacher Dominique Bernard in Arras

“Today at 12:00, a new bomb alert forces us to evacuate the airport again. We will keep you informed quickly,” Bordeaux airport said in a Facebook post, which shortly after said “Operational personnel are allowed to enter the air terminal to prepare for the resumption of operations. Once this operation is completed, the airport will reopen for passengers.”

At the same time, the Palace of Versailles states in its post on X/twitter that: “For security reasons, the Palace of Versailles is evacuating visitors and will reopen as soon as the checks are done. Thank you for your understanding.”

Fourteen French airports received new attack threats yesterday and “at least eight airports” were evacuated in response to those bomb threats, a source familiar with the matter told AFP.

Today the evacuations concerned, according to the aforementioned source, the airports of Brest, Carcassonne, Rennes, Tarbes, Bordeaux-Mérignac, Béziers, Montpellier and Nantes.

Some airports made the same announcements on the matter.

“New bomb alert forces evacuation of airport now. We will keep you informed,” said the Bordeaux airport and a little later with a new announcement informing that “operational staff are resuming their duties, the equipment is back in operation. Once the operation is complete, passengers will be able to access the airports again.”

“Lille airport is being evacuated after a bomb threat. The state security services are on site,” Lille airport said in a post on x/twitter and a little later with a new update it announced that the alert has ended and the airport is slowly reopening.
