As part of the negotiations and in order to allow Red Cross personnel to reach the area safely, the sources say that there were no Israeli airstrikes in Gaza in the last hours.
Earlier, Channel 12 had reported that there is an agreement between Qatar and the US for the release of a number of hostages with dual citizenship from Hamas and how and where the agreement will be implemented is being sought.
Government sources from Israel, however, said that they are not cooperating in an operation to release hostages with dual citizenship, speaking of “choice”. However, developments in the process were not denied.
