IDF members kill Abed al Rahman, deputy commander of Hamas’ Nuseirat Battalion
Israeli security forces killed Tuesday three senior Hamas military officersas announced by the Israeli army (IDF).
The Israeli army, using information from the Shin Bet (Internal Security Service), killed the deputy commanders of the Shati and Sheikh Radwan battalions of Hamas; Khalil Mehjez and Khalil Tetri were both killed in targeted airstrikes.
In addition, IDF members killed Abed al Rahman, the deputy commander of the Nuseirat Battalion of Hamas, who led the October 7 attack and on massacre of civilians in Kibbutz Beeri.
It is noted that Shin Bet formed a new elite group with the sole mission of killing all Hamas members involved in the October 7 attack. The team name is Nyli, and is an acronym for the phrase Netzah Yehouda Lo Ichaker which loosely translates to “eternal Israel will not lie”.
The sole objective of the team formed by Israel’s internal security service is to pursue, locate and exterminate all who played a role in the bloody attack that left more than 1,400 dead and 220 hostages.
