Hezbollah fired anti-tank guided missiles and opened fire with small arms at an Israeli military position near Avivim and against the Misgav Am area on the northern border, The Times of Israel reported.

The Israel Defense Forces say no soldiers were injured in the attacks, and troops are responding with shelling against sources of fire in southern Lebanon.

In the last hour, terrorists fired from Lebanese territory against the Israeli forces station in the Avivim area and towards the Mashgav area, without causing any casualties.

IDF artillery forces are now attacking the sources of the fire, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said in a post on X ex-twitter

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for today’s attacks, as well as dozens of rocket and rocket attacks on IDF positions and Israeli cities since the war in the Gaza Strip began on October 7.

Since then, Hezbollah has also named 47 members killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. The IDF says it has targeted Hezbollah units and sites belonging to the group.
