The man proceeds to narrate what took place on the day of the attack and states that their purpose was to kill
New video of the interrogation of a member of Hamas who participated in the October 7 attack, and which describes the killing of Israeli children, has been released by the IDF.
Our mission was to kill
The man, named Amer Abu Ghosha, is recorded in the video saying that “our only mission was to kill, not kidnap. Kill every person you see and go back to Gaza.”

The man proceeds to narrate what happened on the day of the attack. In particular, he says that his group of terrorists headed to Kfar Aza in a jeep, entered the community after one of them blew up the gate with an explosive device. Once inside the city, the Hamas group went from house to house, setting fire to and shooting with Kalashnikovs or lobbing grenades at anyone they encountered.
How we killed children
At one point, Abu Ghosha describes walking into one home and heard the voices of small children crying inside the safe room and fired at the door of the room. The man remembers that the voices eventually stopped and he concluded that the children had died.
Abu Ghosha and some of the other terrorists later engaged in an armed conflict with IDF soldiers who entered the house through the windows and forced them to surrender.
Asked why they killed women and children, Abu Ghosha replies: “We were told that all the settlers were soldiers.”
There is no difference between Hamas and ISIS
When asked what the difference is between Hamas and the Islamic State, the man said he was shown videos by investigators of some of the atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists against Israeli civilians and commented: “There is no difference. I’ve seen videos that are worse than ISIS.”
Asked if his parents are proud of him, he replied that “my father doesn’t even know I’m in Hamas,” he says, adding that if he knew he would kill him for what he’s done.
