Downing Street communications director Jack Doyle resigned Thursday night, hours after the resignation of Munira Mirza, the British prime minister’s chief policy officer and close adviser to Boris Johnson for 14 years.

According to media reports, Mr. Doyle referred to the weight of recent developments in his family life, referring to the revelations and political pressures around the ‘partygate’.

He has been implicated in the revelations as he allegedly praised staff members at one of the alleged downing parties in Downing Street amid a lockdown.

The Daily Mail’s political editor, however, said Doyle said he always planned to leave the prime minister’s office after two years in office and that his own resignation was not linked to that of Mirza.

The 44-year-old consultant resigned because Boris Johnson did not apologize for the “inappropriate” and baseless accusation he made against Labor leader Sir Kir Starmer over his responsibility for not prosecuting the pedophile BBC presenter Jimmy Saville when Sir Yen was his boss. Prosecution.

The resignations come a day after three more Conservative MPs submitted letters of no confidence in the prime minister.
