A video circulating on the internet is causing shock, showing a young woman from Brazil being shot by her boyfriend.

The video is even taken by the girl herself.

The dramatic footage brought to light by the Daily Mail show Diego Fonseca, 27, standing near a window and pointing a gun at 23-year-old Ielly Alves, in a house in the town of Jataí on Saturday.

Alves can be heard in the video laughing and telling Fonseca: “Do it! Wow, that’s so cool.”

Fonceca pulled the trigger and the girl immediately fell to the floor. She was then taken to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Her boyfriend claimed to authorities that two people pulled up to them on a motorcycle and that one of them fired two shots, hitting Alves.

However, the police officers they noticed that he was falling into contradictions and they took him to the police station, where they saw the video of the shootings on Alves’ cell phone.

Fonseca was arrested on charges of murder. His gun was found near where he had parked his car outside the hospital. He had a criminal record for robbery and assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

“Whoever did this to her will pay,” the killer told the victim’s mother

Alves’ mother stated that Fonseca approached her and promised to find the killers. “I found out he was in the hospital. In the hospital, she hugged me and said: “Mother-in-law, whoever did this to her will pay.”

Her mother stated that her daughter had been in a relationship with the young man for about a year and a half but they did not get along, there were times when they fought fiercely.

“He was bruised, I thought I shouldn’t interfere, but it was difficult, he didn’t tell me much” he characteristically said.

“Mom, I’m going to his house and I’ll be back soon,” were Alves’ last words.
