Reports are of at least 50 dead – “There are dead bodies everywhere and rescuers are trying to transport the injured,” says Al Jazeera’s correspondent
Dozens feared dead after shelling of a school in a refugee camp in northern Gaza, in the area of Jabaliaexpress international organizations.
As reported by the Arab network Al Jazeerathere are at least 50 dead from the missile strike in al-Fakhoora school, which operates under the auspices of the United Nations. Other reports put the death toll as high as 200.
The news is also reported by Agence France-Pressewhich is cited as a source in the area.
According to the reports, inside the school complex there were hundreds of people, among them children, who had found refuge after leaving the city of Gaza.
