In the wake of the ceasefire deal being announced, the two sides are even threatening to escalate clashes between them in the final hours until the deal takes effect at 7am.

The spokesman for Hamas’ armed wing called for an escalation of attacks against Israel on all fronts of attack.

“We call for an escalation of the conflict with the occupation throughout the West Bank and all resistance fronts,” Abu Ubaydah, a spokesman for the Al Qassam Brigades, said in a video broadcast by Al Jazeera TV.

At the same time, IDF spokesman Richard Hecht told NBC News that Israeli operations “may even intensify” in view of the ceasefire.

It’s “business as usual,” Richard Hecht said, rebutting the idea that Israel could curtail operations in Gaza before the ceasefire that begins at 7 a.m. local time.

Earlier it was announced by Qatar that the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will start at 7 tomorrow morning, a development confirmed by both Israel and Hamas.

In particular, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar stated that the start of the pause will be at 7 am on Friday, November 24 and will last as agreed for four days.

“The first group of civilians to be released from Gaza will be around 4 p.m. of the same day. They will be 13 in number, women and children only while the hostages of the same families will be gathered in the same group.”
