Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip will continue “until victory” over the Palestinian organization Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated today, who visited northern Gaza today for the first time since the start of the war.

“We will continue until the end, until victory. Nothing will stop us, Netanyahu told Israeli soldiers, according to a video released by his office.

“We have three goals in this war: to destroy Hamas, to get back all our people who were kidnapped and to make sure that Gaza does not become a threat to Israel again”, he added. “We are convinced that we have the power, the fortitude, the will and the determination to achieve all the objectives of the war and we will achieve them,” he continued.

According to the prime minister’s office, Netanyahu also visited one of the Hamas tunnels discovered by the Israeli army.

Later tonight, Netanyahu will speak by phone with US President Joe Biden, White House adviser Jake Sullivan said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
