Israeli military intelligence was visited by Benjamin Netanyahu today where he was briefed by Chief of Intelligence Avi Keinan on the investigation into documents and technical information seized by IDF units from Hamas.

The information seized was processed and distributed throughout the intelligence community.

Netanyahu praised the activity of the unit, which is staffed mainly by reservists, and its ability to channel the information it gathers to the forces fighting on the ground.

“So far, we have released 74 hostages, including 50 women and children as per the original plan. We are committed to completing this outline and releasing all of our hostages – all of them, without exception,” said the Israeli prime minister.

“I am here visiting this unit of the IDF Intelligence Branch, which is doing sacred work. It has revealed a lot. We’re seeing something amazing: We’re seeing, essentially, that the residents, the citizens in Gaza from above are protecting all the terrorists from below. They built an underground city to protect themselves and are sacrificing the civilians above. This is the exact opposite of what the Israel Defense Forces are doing. The IDF is an army in which soldiers protect civilians. Here, it is the citizens who protect the terrorists. We will certainly reveal it to the world because it must be understood who we are dealing with,” Netanyahu added.
