“Meloni and Sunac decided to co-finance a joint project of assisted voluntary returns to the countries of origin, prepared by the International Organization for Migration, in favor of migrants who are blocked in Tunisia,” the Italian government said in a statement. At the same time, it is emphasized that the two leaders discussed the crisis in the Middle East and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
