Air traffic controllers went on a surprise work stoppage
Greek travelers await their return to Athens, stranded at Brussels airport after surprise strike action, as reports ERT.
Air traffic controllers moved on in sudden stop work.
Afternoon flights between 6 and 8 were affected by the sudden mobilization, while a statement from the Belgian airport at X points out: “The sudden strike will lead to delays and possible cancellations. We regret the impact of this action. More information and updates on our website.”
It is strongly commented that the reason why the auditors went on strike without warning in the middle of the Christmas holidays, is that one of their colleagues did not take a scheduled day off.
Due to an unannounced strike at keys, air traffic control, there are no flights between 6pm and 8pm. This will lead to delays and possible cancellations. We regret the impact of this action. More information and updates on our website https://t.co/0FcxF5KJVA
