Today, Saturday, Poland is conducting new investigations for evidence of the alleged Russian missile, which it claims violated its airspace yesterday, Friday morning, as announced by the Polish armed forces.

“We inform you that on December 30 … a ground search will be carried out in the Lublin region for evidence of the object that violated Polish airspace yesterday,” the operations command of the Polish army announced via the social networking platform X.

“The aim of the investigation is to definitively confirm that no element of the object remains on Polish soil.”

Polish military officials announced yesterday, Friday, that the object left the country’s airspace within three minutes of entering it from the side of its border with Ukraine.

About 480 soldiers are taking part in the search near the town of Zamos in southeastern Poland, the operations command of the Polish armed forces announced.

Last night, the Polish Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian envoy to demand an explanation for the violation of Polish airspace by a guided missile.
