Her Ministry of Health Hamas announced today that Israeli military operations in Gaza Strip they have claimed the lives of 21,672 people since the start of the war on October 7.

One hundred and sixty-five people were killed and 250 injured in the last 24 hours, the same source said, adding that since October 7, 56,165 people have been injured.

Meanwhile, the Israeli armed forces today announced a four-hour ceasefire in a camp in Rafain the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Military activities there will be temporarily suspended for humanitarian reasons, an army spokesman announced in Arabic via Platform X. The pause was decided to allow the population to get supplies, the Israeli spokesman wrote.

The Israeli military had previously called on residents of the southern enclave town of Khan Yunis to seek safety in Rafah, near the border with Egypt.

Today the military also designated a route for civilians to bypass the route they previously used to escape the Khan Yuniswhich the military claimed was dangerous.

Thousands of Palestinians have taken refuge in Rafah and are living in tents.
